BAD NEWS

Over this past weekend, 4/14-15, our bookstore was burglarized. A person or persons rammed a bench from the Cinema Saver movie theater off the parking lot in the back of our store, into our back plate glass door. There was glass all over the place.
4 paintings/pictures were stolen. The police were called and are investigating.
Here is the information about the pictures, in case anyone should come across them.
1) Enamel on Copper, woman in a long blue dress with child standing in water, 12″by20″, signed “Jordin”.
2) “Content in Simplicity” by Georges LaChance, 14″by11″, oil on panel.
3) “Summer Landscape”, oil on canvas, signed “D. Finelli 1958″, 22″by13 3/4″
4) Yarn painting, 24’By24”, signed by Emilio de la Benitez. Framed. No title. This is an example of Huichol Indian Folk art.
A board is coated in beeswax. The painting is created by pressing yarn into the wax.
