The Book Vault Book Club met on March 21, 2018, at a member's house. We had to reschedule from March 14 due to snowy and slippery roads. We discussed the book, "The Alienst", by Caleb Carr. This is an historical crime thriller, that takes place in 1896 NYC, and includes many famous figures of society, including Theodore Roosevelt, and J.P. Morgan.   The alienst, known as a psychologist today, helped to solve murders by a serial killer. Four of us read the book in full, and three didn't finish it. On Wednesday June 10 from 7-8:30 pm, we will hold an evening with Morpheus Ravenna-reading, questions, and book signing for "The Book of the Great Queen". The book is about the history, power, and magic of the Morrigan. It is "an in-depth study of the Morrigan and her cults of worship, ancient and modern". promo flyer This event is free, and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
