The Book Vault Book Group

We had a good discussion at our latest book group about the book, "Garden of Beasts" a thriller by Jeffery Deaver.Our next book to read for Oct. 1 will be "Swag" by Elmore Leonard.    According to a review in Amazon, "This brilliant caper(New York Times) from bestselling author Elmore Leonard is a rollicking tale of modern urban crime featuring a cast of small-time criminals with big-time dreams".  The book was first printed in 2012, & is 256 pages long.All are welcome  to our book discussions, but please contact our book store to confirm your attendance.

Monthly Book Group

The Book Vault will be hosting it's third monthly book group on Wednesday, August 6 at 6:30 pm.The book we will be reading for discussion is 'The Lighthouse', by P.D. Meet and Greet

We just finished our 'Meet and Greet' with Howie Hawkins, the Green Party candidate for NY State Governor. Howie spent the morning campaigning in Binghamton. First he appeared on the Bob Joseph 'Binghamton Now' Show on WBNF AM radio 1290. Then he held a press conference on the Binghamton Court House Lawn. Finally he came to our book store for the 'Meet and Greet'. We had a small but lively group attending the event.
