We had our monthly  book group at The Book Vault on Wed. May 4.  We discussed the book, “Garlic and Sapphires”, by Ruth Reichle.

Most of us liked the book, since it was humorous and well-written.   The author, who worked as a NY Times restaurant critic,  dressed-up

and portrayed different characters when she went into the NYC restaurants to eat, so the owners wouldn’t recognize her and give her specialized treatment.

We chose the book, “Hound of the Baskervilles”, by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle to read for our June read.  It is a classic Sherlock Holmes mystery/

thriller.  It is also under 200 pages.  We will be meeting on Wed. June 1 at 6:30 pm.
